Construction Details:

The coat is made from a standard coat pattern I use for almost every coat I have made. I modified it a bit to give it the tails. Also it is made from a blue cotton.

The trim is gold brocade. I was orginally going to go with a gold/yellow cotton as well, but while in line to get my fabric cut, this caught my eye and I needed to check it out. I nearly flipped when I saw the dragons on it, I knew I had to get it. All the trim is hand sewed on.

The creasent on the back is again made from the brocade. It was my first time really doing applice. Overall, I think it is ok. But hey, still learning.

The body suit is made from a black jersey. It's SUPER comfy. I took the pattern of a shirt and pants and pieced them together.

The wrist cuffs are made from an old pair of leggings...not going to lie.

The armor is all made from craft foam.

The swords, wig, eyepatch, shoes and socks are all from my original Masamune cosplay.

Personal Thoughts:

This is actually my favorite outfit of him. And overall, I must say I feel generally really badass in it.
