Construction Details:

The costume itself wasn't super difficult, but the trim just gave me a bit of trouble since it kept coming apart while sewing it down. I patterned everything, including his golden belt/armor, which was made out of spandex sewn over craft foam with hidden buttons in the back. It was my first time making a sword of my own, and the shape of it came out really well! Overall it was a comfy enough costume, if it wasn't so hard to move around in.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume is pretty uncomfortable, but nonetheless it was a lot of fun to wear. I really love this character, and the aesthetic he has just adds to it. C:

Styling Notes

It took just a little while longer than expected at the con to really recreate his hairstyle at the top. It wasn't difficult at all, but I just made sure that everything looked nice.
