About this Costume
Construction Details:
The shirt/tunic was made from a microsuede. Throughout the costume I added extra seams and stitching to try and give the garments a more realistic, authentic look and feel (such as along the sleeves).

The pants were made from fabric I had sitting around (also a suede-like material) that was the perfect color! Score! Also, the comfiest pants ever.

The boots I had for ages (I almost threw them away, thank god I kept them for cosplay!), and the pelt fur was also fabric I had sitting around for years. The brooch thing was made from translucent sculpty.

Notes about the hellish wig below. I had a hell of a time keeping the wig on my head, but it's a lace front with a high ponytail, so it's a bit of a learning experience.
Personal Thoughts:
I typically connect with the firebenders of the Avatar world (I am a firewolf after all :P), and that is apparent because I've only cosplayed firebenders until now. Noatak is an exception because his ANGST, which I love, is much like a firebender's and I couldn't resist!!

I really like the aesthetics of the water tribe, so this was a fun costume to take on. It's fun to try and transform yourself as much as possible to fit a character.

Styling Notes
The lace front wig was ventilated (using a non-traditional method) in order to alter the hairline, and took a very long time. It was then styled into a high ponytail. View tutorial here.
Wig Review
Nice and thick, and has lots of excess lace in case you need you make an extreme hairline!
