Construction Details:

Wig: Eowyn from Arda so I could do Madoka's zigzag part. I'd like to redo it sometime! I also sharpie dyed it repeatedly but I'm not happy with the color. Bows are just red satin.

Bodice: This doesn't fit as well as I'd like so I have an interest in re-making it. In fact all of it does not fit as I'd like except for the sleeves. Cotton twill lined with magenta cotton, plastic boning. Invisible zipper covered with the placket. Non functional buttons. White trim, red ribbon topstiched on, sleeves also made from the white fabric (I'm not sure what it is, but some kind of synthetic since it has some stretch). Cut out on the back started off nice and then it became this gross misshaped thing. Sigh hahaah
Oh and the yellow is a cotton sateen.
Skirts: There's a UFO shaped crinoline underneath and a petticoat. Then a white skirt over made from the semi-stretchy white fabric, then the petal skirt with gradient dyed pink. It's white twill. Cutouts are finished with fray check since I am lazy. Red satin bias finishing on the edges and red satin bows which pin on. All of it is an elastic waistband.
Socks: Layers of white tights cut and sewn into socks, then the stretchy white fabric for the ruffle part.
Gloves: Basic white gloves with red ribbon and the stretchy white part for the petals.
Shoes: Black heels painted red and ribbons glued to the inside which tie up.
Also ribbon on sleeves and neck!
Soul Gem: Made of air dry clay and painted first with gold paint and then a gold marker. Gems bought and painted with pink nailpolish. THIS THING. I got cocky and bent over when getting ready after I'd glued it to my chest and it just fell off and broke into about four pieces and I almost cried but alas. So be it. I'll remake it for next time. I just need to be careful hahaha
The bow was made by my dad. It's layers of pine laminated and the bow is a clear plexiglass cylinder thing covered in plastic wrap and painted.
