Construction Details:

Xavior picked stretch cotton Harrington for the coat and a matching shade in turquoise for the cuffs. I used dull gold brocade for the pockets and lapels and Indian brocade for the vest. I used twill cotton for the vest ruffles. The coat is fully lined with broadcloth.



The gold trim and lace were hand stitched. I added a gold trim pattern accented with blue chiffon twist flowers to the cuff, as well, which are not visible in the photo. The sash is moved of dark blue twill on which soft golden roses are attached along its entire length.

The pattern for the coat and vest were drafted by me.

Personal Thoughts:

A commission for RS Xavior. This was my first detailed work.
