Construction Details:

The base pieces are actually quite simple. It's a simple strapless dress, rectangular cape, white tights and numerous rectangular scarves. Most of the embellishments like the bead trim and and painted details really brought the simple pieces to life. I bought assorted colors of bead trims and sewed them onto a few scarves, the cape and dress. Then I proceeded to paint all the details.

I used fabric paint mixed with a pearl iridescent paint to add shimmer to all of the colors. I then bought assorted beads to string together all of the jewelry details.

The hair piece ribbon was originally a shiny gold that I painted purple in some sections and teased the ends of the ribbon to make the gold fringe on the ends.

For the shoes, I bought gold boots and painted red covers to place over a few sections of the boots. The results came out great!

Personal Thoughts:

Final Fantasy 6 was one of my first RPGs I played through in its entirety on the Super Nintendo. I fell in love with Tina instantly and she continued to be my favorite Final Fantasy female through the years. When Dissidia came out, I jumped at the chance to cosplay her in her gorgeously redesigned costume!
