This costume was made in about 6 days! White fabric is crepe suiting with linen interlining and cotton lining. Red cape fabric is gabardine, red hood fabric is crepe suiting, red tabard fabric is microsuede. All the bias tape and piping were hand made. Pauldron is vinyl-covered foam. All belts were made with real leather. It was quite an adventure in 3D patterning and fitting, to say the least. Boots and gauntlet were purchased. Dagger, throwing knives and belt buckle were made by NeonGenocide and PixieKitty.
We deviated a little from the artwork - my husband didn't want the neck ruffles on the collar because it was already really busy with the three layers. He also wanted the open belt buckle emblem instead of the filled one - it looked cleaner and we can now use it as a base for other outfits by making removable plates.
