About this Costume
Construction Details:
Construction was fairly easy as everyone can notice: I only had to make the pleated skirt and hair ribbons. Shoes and socks were already owned by me and the shirt was bought an added an additional button to keep it modest (we're talking about a 60s uniform, after all XD). I decided to try and add her freckles in a more natural way with a texture sponge, but the bad thing about that is that it barely shows in photos :_3 It looked cute in person, though, or so I was told XD
Personal Thoughts:
This was one of those cosplays decided in a whim and made in less than a week, though I had a powerful reason to do so: one of the guests of the convention I planned on taking this costume to was the great Shinichiro Watanabe, director not only of this beautiful adaptation, but also of a few of the masterpieces of anime such as Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo. I couldn't help but make my own little homage to this living legend, and when a friend of mine told me he'll be going as Sentarou, I didn't doubt anymore! XD Ricchan is my second favorite character of this beautiful series (the first being the adorable Sen) which also has amazingly animated musical sections. It also made me respect jazz, a genre that I previously ignored.

As a prop, I brought a score of 'My Favorite Things' (the song Ricchan sings during last episodes of the series) and I was lucky enough to have it signed by Watanabe himself, who complimented me after we had a photo together *;__;*

Wig Review
These bangs look great and are quite full. Many people thought it was my real hair XD
