Construction Details:

I gradient dyed silk dupioni (my first attempt at gradient dyeing) and handpainted the gold designs for the dress. The sweater is one that I crocheted myself, weaving stitches over and under each other to create the cable and diamond patterns. The double layered cape is made of wool crepe and trimmed with gold cording and large crystal teardrops. The wig is probably the most complicated one I've styled, taking a wavy base wig plus two packs of extensions for the braid going around the head, the bun in the back, and two braids hanging down in the back.
