Construction Details:

Because the characters are trapped inside a virtual world, I chose a gridline moleskin to create a wireframe effect for the main part of the coat. The accent black is genuine leather, with handmade piping for the silver trim.rnrnThe swords are handmade by me out of plywood with raised clay detailing.

Personal Thoughts:

100% complete costume. Major challenges to overcome included shaping the Dark Repulser blade, which was an odd shape, and patterning the chest-belt to be completely seamless.

The coat is also autographed by Reki Kawahara, the creator of Sword Art Online!
