Construction Details:

I would say "WHAT CONSTRUCTION LOL" but I did actually make stuff for this, believe it or not.
I wanted to make something more exciting for my second Gaga concert, but I didn't have the time and I was afraid of putting a lot of time into an outfit and having it ruined at the concert. I agonized for a while over what outfit to do, then stumbled across this one. (http://the-fame.org/thumbnails.php?album=54) Since I already had to order a black leotard and some dance tights, I went with this one. I made the belt from some interfacing covered in red vinyl I had in my stash. The gloves were patterned to fit me (though they didn't fit all that great) and made from leftover black spandex. The hood was made from leftovers from Belphegor's black skirt. The shoes I wore aren't accurate (it's a freakin' concert, not a costume contest) but they were wedges so I was able to be semi-accurate. I threw on my (thankfully prescription) Ray Bans and BAM. DONE.

Personal Thoughts:

The fans at the concert LOVED me in this costume, I was really surprised ;w; so many people stopped me for photos, and I got a lot of compliments on my modeling abilities when I came out of the photobooth. It was such a great feeling!

Styling Notes

Trimmed the bangs and sprayed it with silicone a few days before the concert.

Wig Review

I wanted to order a Gaga Trademark Platinum Blonde wig before the concert, but I didn't really want to spend the money since I wasn't sure if I'd wear this again. Fortunately I had this in my closet. I'd like to get better photos someday so maybe I'll get a better wig then. ^^;
