Construction Details:

I made the horn out of model magic, the crown and necklace out of craft foam and ribbon/silver mirror material with the film still on. I appliqued the cutie mark on the bottom layer of the dress. The wings are craft foam, hot wire, glue, and elastic - for my first time making wings, I'm pretty pleased! The dress was purchased, and the shoes I have had forever. The "tail" was fabric purchased from Joann. The wig I'm the most proud of - I wish I'd started with a bit of a better base, but I wefted in Grape short wefts from Arda :)

Personal Thoughts:

I did this to go with my friend Kara's EXCELLENT Celestia, and I had a great time putting together the costume and really figuring out the look. Can't wait to wear this with her!

Wig Review

The original (blue) wig I got from ebay, and isn't great quality. The wefts were beautiful though, and the color I got was just perfect!
