Personal Thoughts:

YAY!!! FRUITS BASKET COSPLAY!!!!! This is my FAVORITE FAVORITE FAVORITE ALL TIME FAVORITE anime serious EVER. And this was simply a dream cosplay!! My handsome and shmexy fiance Jonathan did Kyo Sohma and our roommate Sean did Yuki Sohma.

Our pet cat Kyo and our pet rat Yuki (yes, those are their actual names) were the animal forms in these photos. We took the images at the Japanese Art Institute in Hanford, CA.

Let's see, costume breakdown:

I got the socks at the Dollar Store. The shoes from a thrift store. I made the skirt and top myself. I used a vintage pleated skirt pattern and a Burda shirt pattern and reworked it to look like a school girl outfit.

The hair is my own, and I made the hair ribbons! TADA!!! Tohru Honda cosplay!!
