Personal Thoughts:

I always wanted to be my favorite DDR character, Emi Toshiba, since I started playing the game when I was 14... 11 years ago now. (Holy crap.)

I always wanted to her blue pants / stripey shirt outfit, but then when the Joanns Fabrics in my town went out of business and sold everything dirt cheap, and I found the perfect yellow plaid fabric, I decided to do this version instead.

I held onto the fabric for ages, until my mom made this costume for me for Anime Expo 2007. My sister went as a DDR pad, and the two of us rocked the con DDR style.

Now that I have my handsome cosplaying fiance, I decided to revisit the costume as Jonathan as my Rage Ito. I used some of my regular jeans, and had to take up the shirt since I lost weight in the last couple years. I also upgraded the wig to a more accurate color (using a random wig of my moms).

My friend Shauna and her boyfriend David joined us as Yuni and Akira, and we did our photoshoot at Adventure Park in Visalia, CA. So.... 11 years later and I am STILL a DDR junkie. ^_^
