The question I got most was "how do your horns stay up?" so I'll answer that first. Since the horn cores were made of expandable foam, they were super light, and it was also easy to jam a couple pieces of 14-gauge wire in the bottoms of them, then stick the other ends of the wire through the mesh of the wig and wrap it around the inside until enough stability was achieved. For a more in-depth explanation, look up the "wire method". Several troll cosplayers use this for all their horns, and it is probably the best method for all large horns.
The dress is made of cotton duck fabric that had a black and white damask pattern. I dyed it the correct color green (the black is of course unchanged by the dye). The pattern is a heavily modified dress pattern I found for free in a pattern database online. I hesitate to recommend it because I'm pretty sure there's gotta be a better pattern out there to use or modify. The dress, as you can probably tell, does not actually open in the front. I was not going through all the trouble of making it lay flat, so there's a zipper in the back. Easy peasy.
The wands are LED flashing rave light sticks encased in aluminum foil and a layer of paperclay. I wish I'd taken my time more with the foil base, because they still look a little lumpy. Live and learn, I guess. I'm still happy with them because the glow effect is just everything I could have asked for in a pair of clockwork majyyks wands. - Personal Thoughts:
- The Handmaid is my favorite ancestor, and it was great to finally cosplay her!

- The extensions in the front are not from Arda, they are from Doctored Locks.
