Construction Details:

the top and skirt were drafted by me, and the corset is from a commercial pattern that I altered. detail on the skirt is heat-n-bonded cotton and the trim is craft foam (for some reason bias tape just didn't look right to me). the back bow is held up with a ridiculous amount of interfacing, super glue, and sheer determination. you go, back bow.

Personal Thoughts:

technically I've been working on this costume for over 5 years. I started making the top in 2008 but abandoned it and then school, work, etc got in the way for a few years lololol. I found it at my parents' place when they were moving and it still fit me perfectly, so I figured I might as well finish what I started and here it is :D
