Construction Details:

The back kimono top and hakama are made from a heavy suiting fabric. It flows nicely but also holds the pleating. The Hakama is made using a pattern I purchased from Japan. The backboard has a few layers of plastic canvas whip stitched together to form a good support.

Love, love, love this costume. So much fun to wear and to make.
