Construction Details!
The top was made of Kona cotton and has a zipper down the front that gets covered by the front panel which is held down with velcro. All details were done with Bias tape and heat and bonded cotton. Her red arm bands were a pain. I can't even explain how I did them. They attach to the shirt with hook and eyes and grommets.
The skirts are both made from Kona Cotton as well. The long skirt is half of a circle skirt. The other is a basic pleated skirt. The sleeves and socks were also made of kona and are held up by sock glue. The details all done by bias tape.
The sword was made from a small piece of wood which was jigsawed into the shape I wanted then we used a router to create the beveled edge. After this I added the wonderflex details and painted it.
