Construction Details:

The hat, skirt, coat, and shoe covers were made by me. It's been a while since I fully lined something so I decided to go the extra mile with Illya by lining the hat and coat. There's EVA foam in the hat for stability. I went with embellished silver buttons for the fancy and because white buttons made the outfit way too plain looking. The outfit is closed in the front with the actual buttons! The scarf is a rectangular piece of fleece. I had a pair of white gloves from previous cosplays.

Personal Thoughts:

I did this upon Keita's request since she's asked me to be the Illya to her Saber YEARS ago. And lo and behold in our friends circle there are a bunch of people who did Saber and Rin but alas, no Illya. |D;;; I have a feeling I'm gonna be slowly shuffled around in the friends circle...

Styling Notes

I borrowed one of Keita's wigs for Illya (a prerequisite of mine when I do cosplays for other people is that they provide me with a wig to borrow =3=).
