Construction Details:

I made the jacket and bought/reused everything else! there are a few details I fucked up on the jacket (the lapel is a little funky and the lining isn't all that great) but I'm pretty happy with it!!

Personal Thoughts:

wow I am a cartoon character. being Lupin with my flawless babe friends was so much fun holy shiiiiiiiiitttt! I never ever would have thought I would cosplay him when I was 14 and watching this show when it was on adult swim. technically we decided on this group after watching the new Mine Fujiko series but all the boys look the same as the old series so that's where I submitted it.

Styling Notes

wow this wig. it's two wigs put together: one short (and thin) wig, and one medium length and really shiny/thick wig (from cosplay DNA) - the short wig was the base, while the med length wig was cut in half, and the scalp/top half was sewn and partly glued into the front of the base wig to make the pomp. his peak is a piece of felt with wefts sewn in and placed in front of/in between the pomp to give him that wacky hairline. the sideburns are wefts from both wigs slicked down.

Wig Review

his hair is supposed to be slicked back, but some art looks like it's a fauxhawk/duckbutt and other art looks like it's just a big poofy helmet of hair???? I went with the gangster pompadour look because it seemed fitting and it looked the best lmfao.
