Construction Details:

The leotard was purchased from an online dance-wear site. It was amazingly comfortable!

Cammy's red socks were dyed soccer socks, done with RIT Dye. Her leg stripes were painted on by a friend before each convention day.

Cammy's arm guards took a while to make. Elbow-length costume gloves were used as the base. Sadly, they were polyester and could not be dyed red so they had to be put into a dye bath made from red sharpies. Then the holes for the fingers were cut out and adjusted. The body of the guards were glued on from various pieces of craft foam, which were then covered in gesso, painted, and then covered in a layer of polyurethane. Most of the difficulty of this costume came from the gloves.

Personal Thoughts:

Nothing is better in hot summer conventions than wearing this costume!

I must have attempted to braid this wig about three times.

Wig Review

Very heavy wig and tangled quite easily as most long wigs do, but it is a nice wig.
