Construction Details:

I made this dress myself and dyed the wig too. It was an adventure and a good learning experience. I tried to make her dress as flowing as possible because of how it was drawn.

Personal Thoughts:

Galaxia is one of the final villains from the series Sailor Moon. She was a powerful force to be reckoned with and depending on if you know her from the manga or the anime her story of destruction varies slightly. Sailor Galaxia is one of my favorite villains of the series, and I like her most in the manga so I chose to model my cosplay off the manga illustrations.

There are not many views of her after she is healed by Sailor Moon, but I knew I wanted to do this cosplay to portray the redeemed version of one of my favorite bad guys.

FW Ink Dyeing Method

Styling Notes

I styled this bad boy over a couple of days. Gradient dyed in my shower using the ink method (twice) since the color slipped off so i adjusted my mixture). Then after the second washing I had to recurl the whole thing using a blow dryer and foam rollers. I also trimmed and cleaned up the bangs a bit. I am very happy with how it came out.

Wig Review

I have a feeling it was my dyeing method that has made the dye slip off the wig at first but I am very pleased all around with the quality and ease of which i was able to restyle it.
