Construction Details:

The dress is just simple casa satin sewn together with a basic dress pattern. I modified the pattern to have puffy sleeves and to have a gathered skirt, both fairly simple things. The bloomers are red and white cotton fabric I sewed into strips and then put elastic in the waistband, they were easy as well.
The neck ruff I made by looking up a tutorial online, and then I spent around 7-8 hours handsewing it together. It's probably my favorite part of the costume. The headdress was made by myself and my friend, I would make the fabric flowers and she would twist them together into the crown.

Most of the little details on the costumes came from various places, like Forever 21 and Michael's. The pearl chain around my waist with the cage was actually a necklace that ended up breaking, so I just sewed it onto the waistband of the dress.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first big cosplay project that I made when I was 17. My sewing skills have improved a ton since then, but I'm still proud of this costume!

Wig Review

The bangs and part are very strange, and the wig sits weirdly on my head (although the headdress hides it). I would not recommend it.
