Construction Details:

I modified an old Simplicity kimono pattern using ALL the brocade for this outfit. Red kimono? Brocade. Blue kimono? Brocade! Obi? BROCADE! Brocade is an evil fabric but damn it looks pretty.

Both kimonos (sewn more like yukatas but whatever) were sized up to be slightly baggy and the obi was lengthened from 7 to 14 ft to be able to get that shoujo bow in the front.

Ears are starched felt and faux fur on alligator clips, tail is also faux fur on a blue brocade sash that ties around my waist.
