Construction Details:

Red stretch pleather, brown pleather, silver clasps, silver buckles, interfacing, shoulder pads, fingerless gloves, wig cap, silver chain, glass gem, red foil, silver spray-paint, polymer clay, thread. The time it took for construction is not measurable since it spanned many months due to my lack of free-time. Tip For sewing pleather: put cheap tissue paper in between the sewing machine and the fabric to prevent stretching.

Personal Thoughts:

I've always had a love for the Devil May Cry series and have read the books, played the games, and even listen to the OSTs. Dante's awesome style and shtick are really what propelled me to try cosplay in the first place; I guess I owe my new found hobby to everybody's favorite devil hunter. So, with that said, this is my first cosplay and I am really excited to represent Dante in the Ultimate MvC3 contest. Lets Rock!!

Wig Review

It's rather hard to shove long hair into a Derek. A teacher of mine told me of to braid my hair multiple times before rolling it into the wig. Other than a few lump (due to the packing of my hair) the wig was awesome!
