Construction Details:

The skirt is 4 layers, 2 in the back and 2 in the front. It's made from Linen, Satin, and silk.

Bodice is steel boned and corseted in the back. Made from polyshun tung and overlayed with mushroom organza. Then hand embroided before duck canvas lining was added. Sleeves came from a lace crocheted shrug that was found in a second hand shop.

Bloomers made from broadcloth.

Personal Thoughts:

I've always wanted to do this! It was a dream come true. This movie is childhood. :D

There was a lot of research done on this costume and a lot of scouring for materials to get it as movie accurate as possible.
