Construction Details:

I started off with a belly dancer outfit's top for the basic shape of the cups and then patterned it out on my own after that. The crisscrossing of the lacing and the lace and the layering of fleshtone spandex and satin on the bust was maddening. I cut all-over lace into strips with a pair of pinking shears and sewed that over the hemmed nightie/teddy thing, mixing official art and the in-game model placement.
The leg cuff is stretch satin with Tulip Slick freehanded leaves/flowers.
The shoes were an insanely lucky find on eBay. They're Guess brand, not sure what the actual name of the type of shoe, aside from being D'Orsay cut.
I bought a roll of athletic tape for the leg and arm bandages(and ran out on the leg, oops), then in the gaps smeared gray/black eyeshadow. I'd like to do the black scrawl makeup eventually, but I would definitely not use a tape with adhesive again. It hurt like hell to take off and made it really hard to pose at all.

Personal Thoughts:

At first I was like, "I can't make this, I love Nier but this is too much skin, no way." Then I found a gorgeous two sided black lace for the top, then the blue fabric was on sale and then it all snowballed from there. God damn it. Kaine is a wonderful character and I cried like a little bitch over ending C and D.

Styling Notes

Trimmed off one side, cut the bangs in, braided it and bobby pinned it up. Pretty easy.

Didn't fit my head very well though so I'll need to loosen the ponytail or something. :I
