Construction Details:

Altered a McCalls pattern for the base dress and tripled the skirt, since it was originally just a basic circle skirt and I wanted it to be a lot more full than that. The base material is a beautiful duchess satin, and the skirt overlayers are all a matching chiffon. I added some horsehair braid to them in order to get the more ruffled effect, and am really happy with it, on top of the petticoat. Corset was made using the same pattern as my American Dream corset and has spiral steel boning, and since there's no clear image of the design on her corset, I just kind of winged it and did my own thing with my embroidery machine. I trimmed the corset with a bunch of Swarovski flower shaped beads that I bought for another costume and ended up not using, for a little bling and keeping with the flower theme. Flowers were purchased from Etsy, and the front center cameo piece was put together by me. Wings are from FancyFairy. Shoes are just satin ballet flats with ribbon ties, since she's barefoot but I didn't want to run around a convention with no shoes.

Styling Notes

Swept the bangs to the side, and brushed out the curls a little, and attached the flowers in with alligator clips.
