Construction Details:

I used an old black hoodie as a model for the jacekt. I marked and cut where all the panels would go and then cut them out of red and blue knit. The black lines are all done with puff paint (the "slick" kind to give it the oily ish look)
The spider emblems are stiff felt that are top stitched onto the jacket.
Mask: cotton triangle with puff paint
goggles: ebay
pants, boots and gloves from around my house

Personal Thoughts:

I saw the design and absolutely fell in love with it.
Prior to this costume I had a huge aversion to working with knit fabrics but I kinda got over it with this.
This is one of my first non anime cosplays so it was kinda weird. But Andrew Garfield is is my husband so its all okay.
This was also my Halloween costume for 2012
