Construction Details:

*Catsuit: I bought the main catsuit and did all of the hand-stitching. I don't trust my sewing skills enough yet to make one all from scratch.
*Gloves: I bought matching gloves and took them in (they were huge!). The claws are made out of plastic thimbles and fake nails that I painted silver.
*Mask/cowl: I drafted the pattern for the mask and cowl by myself. his was a lot of trial and error, and it's still not perfect, but I'm happy with it. I really like the offcial mask and I may buy it just to have a long with the mask I made.
*Corset: Since I was on a time crunch, I just bought a cheap corset. After I wore it the first time, I decided to hand-sew a more accurate fabric to the corset to make it look better.

Personal Thoughts:

I have always wanted to be Catwoman since the movie came out, and I'm so glad I finally get to be her! She's my idol. I like many different versions of Catwoman, but I decided on the Batman Returns one since it is my favorite. I really really love this costume. It's so much fun to wear and always gets a good response!
