Construction Details:

I actually had to make this costume twice, the first time I bought roman gladiator armor but that was too big and it made me look like a box.

So I had to remake the armor to be a bit more form fitting but still have a six pack. I used spandex (first time I worked with that material, it slides and bunches so it was hard to work with) and craft foam to make a six pack. I stuffed each muscle with a heat formed piece of craft foam filled with scraps of fabric.

It was also a bit tricky to figure out how his skirt thing worked and I ended up having to make it two different pieces

His armor is made from craft foam, sealed with glue, then covered with spandex

Personal Thoughts:

I don't know why I choose to cosplay a super muscular guy again...but he's still awesome!
