Construction Details:

Kuro the Cat from Blue Exorcist

Design

After taking time to check out Blue Exorcist, I instantly fell in love with the show and had to cosplay someone from it. I loved this kuro as hes was so cute and I felt I could be a little fun with his cosplay. I desided to do do a more human form of this charcter.


The ears

The ears I made from craft fur and sculpty. I made the ear shape and baked the ears. I then added the fure and painted the insides of the ears for a cute cat look. As for attachment, I used some hair clips and hot glued them.


The Horns

As for the horn its made out of sculpty. I just used the pic as a refernce and looked at like bananas to ge the idea and made them. I did make sure to pinch the ridges to give it a more look. As for painting them, I tried spray paint but it was just to sticky for me and even though I liked its gloss and smoothness, painting it by hand made it look even better and more like his.

The Wig

Styled the wig similar to the the main character’s but a bit more wild for a sat look and to blend with the ears


The Collar

I used a regular large dog collar and for the school pin/ tag, I bought a cross as a base and made the crest leaving the top exposed to make an easy attachment to the collar. I used sculty as well for t. afterword I did spray paint it silver to get a nice look to it and hand painted the colors on it. Took about 3 hours for everything to dry.


Outfit

For the outfit, I found and old blazer at a thrift store and a white fest to give kuro the shool look that the other characters had but with a furry tuff for his white chest. When too hot, I used a white but up shirt. Pants are a dress pants. Added a white patch for his white patch on his arm
Gloves and booties

Used a nice white fabric and used a handmade patter for the gloves and booties and added elastic to keep them on.

Tails

I used a nice black fur fabric. I loved it even though it has waves in I but it give the tails a nice shine. I added a bit of wire to make them.

Total cost: 35$
Hours spent: 15 hours

Styling Notes

just make the hair blend with the ears a bit but its more free standing
