Construction Details:

I made this over about a week. I found a dress pattern and just shortened it quite a bit. after making the dress I painted on the yellow trim. My friend Brittany helped me with some of the painting on the blue flag thingy and also drew the symbol on the white shawl thingy. I had a lot of fun trying to make this but it was quite difficult because I have never made a dress before. It was a great learning experience!

Personal Thoughts:

Our group had wanted to coslpay from Zelda for a while and we finally decided to do it and I chose to be Zelda. Though I have never played the game, I have watched friends play, and it looks pretty cool! I'm not much of a gamer.

Styling Notes

I had never really styled a wig so this was a first for me. I had the help of a few friends because it was so long we wanted to cut the bangs and length while i wore it. First we sectioned it out and cut the bangs, front sections, and back part. with the left over fibers I sewed them in to the front of the wig to add extra thickness to the front sections before warping them in ribbons. Then I added the ribbons to the back part. It took a couple of tries with the ribbons to get them the way i wanted them because the kept slipping.

Wig Review

I love the way this wig turned out....though I need to re-do the ribbons because they have slipped a bit since Tokyo in Tulsa.
