Construction Details:

The dress was made from a simple A line dress pattern, which I added the scalloped hem to. The pattern was all added with heat and bond. The beehive and bees are made from craft foam and then painted with acrylic. I constructed the beehive around a foam hat so it could sit on my head. I used velcro to secure the hat to the hood as well as securing the hair buns to the hat and hood.

The make up ended up being more intense than I had pictured it so I had a hard time photographing in it. Next time, I'll probably tone it down.

This costume is of a vinyl toy designed by Julie West and produced by StrangeCO. I've had this particular version sitting on my desk for years and have wanted to cosplay it for just as long. I'm super happy with how it came out, and I can't wait to wear it again.
