Construction Details:

We made the underskirt a rope hoop skirt. That way it would have some shape, but I would still be able to move around and sit easily. This costume also had a lot of little details - all the yellow for example - that required a lot of measuring and figuring out what would look proportionately right. We made the blue “dress”, white “shirt”, white overdress, and hoopskirt, and I bought bloomers :) I already had the boots.

Personal Thoughts:

The hardest part about this costume is not smiliing. Saber doesn't really smile a lot, and I wouldn't call her a "happy" character. I'm a pretty happy person, so it was definitely a challenge. That and getting all my hair up in that bun!
