Construction Details:

Construction was pretty straightforward - my intent was to make the design more "girly" but I still look rather boyish!

Anyway, the jacket was a Built by Wendy pattern that I made hardly any alterations to. The hat, pants, gloves, Pokedex, and Oshawott backpack were all purchased. :)

Personal Thoughts:

Pokemon was one of my first loves, second only to Sailor Moon. The Black and White season won a special place in my heart, mostly through the adorable determination of Oshawott. ;) I've always wanted to do an Ash costume and often thought of doing his original flavor outfit - however, I'm a bit of a sucker for clean, color-blocked designs, so I thought why not do the B&W? That way I could have Oshawott with me. :)

As a side note, I had originally just planned to have my little stuffed Oshawott, but Makoto surprised me as the most beautiful Oshawott in the world!
