About this Costume
Construction Details:
Skirt is a layer of poly chiffon over yellow peach skin and the bodice is flocked velvet lined in some...kind of polyester with a glitter on it- the same is used for the sleeves and the bias tapes.
The lights are all on wires and the packs are strategically hidden through the skirt and bodice. I have two packs in each sleeve, one in the back of the bodice, and one in the waistband of the skirt. All of the lights are removable and the lights on the front of the bodice are tacked down as a stay and can be taken of if I want to be a 'no lights' version of Snow.
Personal Thoughts:
I'm so glad I was able to hop on this with Ashley and Ali because it was so much fun and the reaction in the park was better than I would could have ever hoped for. I really enjoy little kids having a freak out over the princesses and it was so much fun getting to be one- I've wanted to make Snow White for years so this was really a dream come true. Also, a million thank you's again to Ali and Ashley for taking pictures of me at the wishing well and for getting a million pounds of candy together.
