Construction Details:

My favorite parts of this costume are the boots! I made the bootcovers from metallic 'mystique' spandex (which I also used for the gloves and waistband of the skirt). I reinforced the spandex with stiff pleather so it would stay up and have the thickness of a boot.

The half jacket is Crepe-back Satin lined with light-weight pearlized purple taffeta to match the artwork. The bustier was the hardest part of the costume, and I'm not completely happy with it, but whatever. The bustier fabric has a slight magenta sparkle, as does the chiffon for the skirt.

The skirt is two layers of chiffon (the top layer having a more pronounced glitter pattern, the bottom layer being Crepon Sheer). I made a panty out of the same metallic spandex as the waistband for underneath, since the artwork this outfit is from suggests the skirt is sheer, and you can see some black Sheryl panties under it (similar to a figure skating outfit).

Personal Thoughts:

I like Sheryl's attitude, and what girl doesn't want to be a glamorously bitchin' pop star from time to time? XD

Wig Review

I love the curl and style of this wig, but REALLY wish the pink under-layers were more visible from the front!
