Construction Details:

Starting from the top!
The wig luckily came pre-styled but I decided to add some extra wefts to make it extra thick~ The headband was purchased.
The top consists of two parts, a black under jacket and a white sweater-esque piece that slips over. The black jacket was hand drafted and is made from cotton with silk detailing on the cuffs. The bias tape for the collar was hand-made. The white jacket was also drafted by me and made out of a thick knit material.
The skirt is made from the same silk material from the cuffs of the black jacket and was knife pleated despite Homura's constant changing style!
The tights, while unfinished, were made from a stretch nylon and slip over the heel like a giant bootsock~

Personal Thoughts:

Ahhhh, Homura has been a dream of mine since Madoka was first released! I learned so much by taking on this project, since it was a lot more difficult than first expected~
