Construction Details:

This costume has a lot of firsts - as well as a lot of things I'm SUPER happy how they turned out and others...not so much. I was ecstatic with how my pleated skirt and spats turned out. I added extra details where I could like: top stiching, piping, trims etc
The dress shirt was my first time doing Bishop sleeves and I enjoyed how it turned out. Unfortunately the majority of the dress shirt is hidden under the vest - which I had a lot of creative inspiration towards, but it didn't turn out as I had hoped, and is fitted pretty poorly.
The ruffles consist of 100 individual circles sewn together.

The hat... funny story.... I ended up leaving a lot of things at home for this convention, one of which was the hat for my Dagger cosplay. However, my lovely friend Sumikins came to the rescue with craft foam, hot glue and spare fabric to make me another at con.

Personal Thoughts:

Something about his character and design appealed to me. So when my first group of friends asked me to cosplay him I agreed; however with financial strains it wasn't until a second group of friends needed a Dagger and helped me out with supplies that I was able to pursue this cosplay. I had the pleasure of joining NOTN's full circus group at Fanime this year and hope to re-wear it again soon.
