Construction Details:

This costume was a semi-gradual process.
I had most of everything by the summer of 2010 (started in the fall of 2010), but I didn't acquire a Death Note until the summer of 2011. :

Materials Used:
- A black tank top that pinched in the middle
- a poofy black tool skirt found at "HOT TOPIC"
- black and white witch tights
- black ribbon choker
- "love necklace"
- black fuzzy boots
- black arm covers
- brown/black hair bands

Personal Thoughts:

Before I dyed my hair from blonde to Red to Auburn, my blonde hair was long enough for Misa Amane (my second cosplay costume). My friends loved Death Note and called me Misa when I came to school with a hairstyle similar to her (I was originally going for Rosette in Chrono Crusade). So I watched Death Note and was pretty baffled at Misa's risqué airheadedness. >.> haha but nevertheless I looked like her so that made complying a heck of a lot easier x3
