Construction Details:

Short pile tiger fur was sewn onto a cheap, strapless bra, boot covers have invisible zippers and fit over a pair of wedge heeled boots, bottoms were patterned from a pair of tie-sided bikini bottoms and turned into a "Tiger Diaper"
Since NanDesuKan has stupidly strict costume rules, I had to make them cover a lot more than they normally should, so my cheeks didn't hang out the back, which works out just fine.They also helped to cover the waistband on mah pantyhose. Bonus!
I then sewed a little elastic into the waistband and legs to keep them snug.
The ears are from Aradani.com. They fit me a little funky because my ears are tinier than average. :

Personal Thoughts:

This one was kind of a sneak-attack cosplay for me.
I've planned on making a Lum for YEARS and I've been hoarding 2yds of tiger fur for the past 3 or 4 years and I've just kinda pushed it around my sewing room in that time, slowly forgetting WHY it was there.
Then, one day a wig order came in for another costume and it ended up being the WRONG color for that costume...but perfect for Lum (I didn't realize at the time!). So, I ordered a new wig for the other cosplay and dinked around with ideas what to do with this new, "Neptune" green wig. And then I remembered my tiger fur.


DERP. Wig + Fur = LUM

I plan on wearing this more along with a couple other variants...I just need to get my ass back in shape! Married life and school have not been kind! /cry

Styling Notes

I steamed out/relaxed the curls a bit since the wave was a bit too much for Lum. I then trimmed and curled the bangs.

Wig Review

Decent wig. I had to sew back a strip of fabric that was left protruding from the forehead area, otherwise I would have had a brown strip between my wig and my head.
Pretty wig despite that.
