Construction Details:

I've been very into the steampunk/victorian look for years, so I'm very happy I finally found an awesome character with a gorgeous outfit! Everything made by me--I will admit I had the most fun making the glove! I used similar craft foam techniques as my automail for the fingers, and everything that's no craft foam is pleather from my stash. Basically everything on it is leftover materials, which is great. (Except the "wires", which are rubber insulation tubes snatched from someone's trash heap, haha!)

Not much to say about the sewing part, I made my own patterns from tracing shirts I already owned and stuff, the usual. I did add some extra details to Asami's outfit when I made this though, like painting gears on the collar of the jacket, using ornate brass buttons on the jacket instead of plain ones, and making spats instead of just wearing boots.

Edit: My glove now lights up!!! Thanks to a decorative light from IKEA that gave its life for this cosplay ;)
