Construction Details:

Sari underskirt, top, and wings are airbrushed to mimic the various shades of Siren's feathers. The top also has a cluster of gemstones which I hand-sewed, and the wings are scattered with Swarovski crystals. Crown is made from two layers of lace, spray-painted gold and covered in gemstones.

Personal Thoughts:

I was a 26yo white girl really into Bollywood for a summer and didn't know or understand what cultural appropriation was, so consider this a Very Retired costume.
