Construction Details:

The base dress is a reuse of the Buttercup pattern, with princess seams down its length. The fabric is dark green linen, with a cream gauze underdress.

Personal Thoughts:

Merida is pretty much the only Disney princess I'd ever cosplay. I had a lot of fun posing as her as part of a group, and it was wonderful to see the little girls get excited when I was part of a Disney princess group.

Styling Notes

I also bought 2 full extension wefts to add volume for this wig. I curled the wefts using the hot water/steam method over curlers, then sewed individual sections all over the wig. The curls were also teased and hairsprayed to create additional fullness.
