Construction Details:

This dress was made by Chibi Rinoa originally intended for an artbook Tomoyo (Cardcaptor Sakura) costume. Once I acquired the dress and wore it myself I was struck by how appropriate it would be for Fluttershy as well. I made some wings and a removable cutimark out of craft foam and bought some ears from Yaya (which I put on a ribbon since the black elastic stuck out like a sore thumb!) and threw on a pink wig I happened to have, and ta da! Fluttershy!

Personal Thoughts:

Fluttershy is by far my favorite character in Friendship is Magic. After planning to wear her at Dragon*Con I jokingly threw out the idea that my boyfriend throw on a pair of bunny ears and cosplay Angel with me. Once spoken, the idea was just too funny to pass up. I was shocked how popular the costume was at D*C. Even Tara Strong was impressed!

Wig Review

I bought this wig to use for a forthcoming Sera Ferron cosplay, but in the meantime it was perfect for Fluttershy. Ferarri is my absolute favorite style from Arda.
