Construction Details:

The dress is made from remnants of the jersey blend I used for Vriska's God Tier tunic. I tried to dye it orange up top but it didn't take very well to the fabric, probably because of a combination of the dye being a few days old and not very...hot...and the fabric generally not wanting to soak it up. I gathered it on elastic bands on the top and bottom of the sleeves and sewed some ribbon ties on. I didn't weave the ribbon through the edges of the top because my sewing machine didn't want to do buttonholes. So this is really nothing complex right now. I just put it over the white turtleneck I wear for her school uniform and some tights and my boots.

Personal Thoughts:

SO ASIAN. This outfit looked SO BIZARRE on me before I put the wig and makeup on. It's very Japanese teenagerish. I also haven't totally completed this outfit, I guess. On top of the ribbon not being woven through the edges of the top for reasons specified under construction and the dye not taking well enough, I couldn't tell wtf was going on with the bottom of her dress, but now that I know I'll probably add that in before I wear it next.
