About this Costume
Construction Details:
This entire outfit was a pain in the butt to do. I originally thought it would be a simple costume and pretty cheap since I owned stuff for it already from leftovers. I was totally wrong about that.

The first jacket I made, I decided that I didn't like the choice of colour for the teal, and remade it. I only decided to remake it because the wig I got was too dark. I bought a new wig that is brighter. The jacket had to stand out more with that brighter wig. I thought the wig wouldn't work in the end after receiving it. I managed to get it to work by moving some wefts. These were the first two hurdles I had to overcome.

Next, I couldn't find the knit but thank god it was found! Too bad I didn't have enough so I had to improve with how the turtleneck was made. I made it shorter than I liked to accomodate with lack of fabric but after finishing it, I noticed that I could have made it longer without any issues.

The pants were also another issue as finding the right colour was annoying. I made the pants in two days before the con and almost thought I screwed up and had to remake it. Luckly, it worked in the end! However, the shoes I originally wanted to wear with this didn't fit under the pants so I had to use what I had on hand.
Personal Thoughts:
I didn't think I would love this series as much as I do! I thought of checking it out after seeing so many advertisements in Japan. It was a slow start but I kind of fell in love with it pretty fast.

Originally, I didn't like Aichi but he eventually grew on me near the end of the first season. All of those that watch it would know why.

Styling Notes
The wig didn't have enough hair on the sides like I thought it would. I had to move wefts to make his larger bang longer and stand out. I still wish there were more hair on the sides but I can't move anymore wefts. I'm tempted to buy a second wig to add hair in but that's not really worth the price.
