About this Costume
Construction Details:
Super easy. Drafted patterns for the long vest, the skirt and the top. The scarf is a basic cowl that I pleated down for extra fullness. The belt is 2 layers of felt sandwiched between this wonderful dulled satin that I've had laying around forever. I top-stitched (quilted.. I guess?) the check pattern on top, and slapped on the big ass jewel. The bias tape was made out of the same fabric that I used for the belt. The boots were thrifted, and I added a band of fabric, the gold clips, and some more bias tape decorations. The bracers are made out of fosshape (aka the love of my life) and craft foam. I just rolled the fosshape into a cylindrical shape to fit my forearm, coated it in mod podge, and sanded it until they were smooth. Finally, they were painted, and I added the eyelets. I razored a wig that I've had laying around to get a "rough" look, made the headband in about 2 minutes, and that's it!
Personal Thoughts:
I've been wanting to make this version of Faris for over a year now! So glad that I finally got around to it. I've been cosplaying as Sheryl waaay too much. Need to give some other characters some lovin'.

Butts and Farts.
