Construction Details:

The gijinka design is something I cam up with myself. I really wanted to get all the features so for arms and legs I made warmers to represent them. The hat is made to be like the top of Togepi's head while the dress kinda of has this more egglike shape overall. To play off of the features, I made the top edge of the dress spikey like the cracked egg and the red and blue triangles everywhere expanding on the already existing shapes.

Personal Thoughts:

Originally this was made for my friend and her first time cosplaying. Since we're about the same size I used myself for fittings and ended up wearing it for fun with another friend as Pikachu and ended up getting a lot of positive feedback.
